Descripcion del puesto

The Continuous Improvement Analyst will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and proposing improvement initiatives within the supply chain, procurement, and logistics operational processes. The goal is to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, improve quality, and foster a culture of continuous improvement within the company. This role will report directly to the Continuous Improvement Leader and work collaboratively with various departments to ensure the effective implementation of proposed improvements.

Main Responsibilities:

- Process Analysis and Diagnosis:
Evaluate supply chain, inventory, distribution, and logistics processes to identify areas for improvement in terms of time, costs, resources, and quality.

- Implementation of Improvement Projects:
Propose and coordinate the execution of continuous improvement projects using methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, among others, to optimize operational processes and reduce inefficiencies.

- Monitoring and Control of Results:
Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of implemented improvements, monitor and adjust as necessary to ensure long-term success.

- Quality Management:
Ensure that processes and implemented improvements meet the company's and customers' required quality standards, minimizing errors and ensuring consistency in results.

- Data Analysis:
Collect and analyze operational data related to delivery times, transportation costs, inventory levels, and other relevant indicators to identify opportunities for improvement.

- Training and Staff Development:
Provide training and support to operational teams in adopting new practices and continuous improvement methodologies, promoting a corporate culture focused on efficiency and optimization.

- Cross-Department Collaboration:
Work closely with the procurement, logistics, sales, and operations departments to ensure that improvement initiatives are aligned with the company's strategic goals.

- Reporting and Documentation:
Prepare regular reports on the progress of improvement initiatives, results achieved, and suggestions for new areas of intervention, presenting findings to the Continuous Improvement Leader and senior management.

Perfil del puesto

Requirements:

- Student up 8 semester or Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics, or related fields.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in roles related to continuous improvement, process optimization, or operations management, preferably in the logistics and supply chain sector.
- Knowledge and experience in using continuous improvement tools such as Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or similar methodologies.
- Analytical skills and the ability to interpret operational data and generate management reports.
- Ability to work autonomously and in teams, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with different levels of the organization.
- Proficiency in computer tools (MS Excel, Power BI, Visio, MS PowerPoint, project management software).

Desired Competencies:

- Lean, Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt) certification.
- Experience in the logistics and distribution industry.
- Knowledge of inventory management systems and supply chain software.
