Job description
Objective:
As a key member of the core team, the Solutions Engineer is responsible for developing and implementing solutions that address the potentials customer's supply chain challenges, ensuring accurate and competitive pricing, and appropriate profitability.
Missions:
- Supports the core team to create the design / concept that addresses the client's supply chain challenges, business needs and requirements
- Perform data analytics using appropriate tools to gain knowledge of client business and identify data gaps and pain points
- Identify the key operating parameters that drive the solution and that could create risk
- Create support documentation related to the solution (pricing templates, risk & requirements, solution presentation, etc.)
- Evaluate, design and implement new layouts: including storage rack, conveyor, automation, and other material handling solutions for facilities
- Recommend methods for improving efficiency for existing customers
Applicant's profile
- Engineer degree or equal experience
- Knowledge of the main areas of Contract Logistics (Storage, Added Values, Local Distribution)
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma or other process improvement methodology is a plus
- Advanced English and Spanish (spoken and written)
- Knowledge of project management systems
- Synthetic and analytic minded
- Rigorous and pro-active attitude
- Organizational skills and adaptability
