V.I.E Logistics Commercial Engineer H/F
Description de la mission
You will support GEODIS Contract Logistics growth in the UK by helping us designing / quoting solution / supporting head of BD in preparing tender's response. This V.I.E contract is available to young professionals aged 18 to 28 who are citizens of the European Economic Area (EEA).
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and Implementation: Develop and implement customized logistics solutions to meet client requirements, focusing on efficiency, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Client Interaction: Serve as a point of contact for clients, addressing their logistics concerns and requirements while building strong, long-term relationships.
• Collaboration: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including operations, sales, and IT, to ensure seamless integration of logistics solutions.
• Project Management: Lead and manage logistics projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints.
Profil du candidat
• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 1 years of experience in logistics engineering or a similar role within the supply chain industry.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, or other analytics software).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to develop innovative logistics solutions.
• Experience with project management and process optimization methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and internal teams.
• Knowledge of logistics technology and trends, including automation and digital solutions.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
