Job description
Objective:
Reporting to the National Sales Manager, your role is to grow profitably Freight Forwarding business and ensure efficient sales activities within the Americas trade lane.
Missions:
- Execute Trade Lane strategy and ensure budget achievement in terms of profit and volume
- Proactively seek out new business opportunities within the Region, at the same time, identify opportunities for growth within existing business
- Support the sales team in calls in order to develop the trade lanes and implement new accounts, services and solutions
- Participate in bids, proposals, RFQ, RFI for presentation to new or existing customer in order to offer a solution per trade lane
- Fill in CRM and maintain it updated with customer information, visits, opportunities and budget
- Keep internal organisation informed of activities and trade lanes and act as subject matter expert
Applicant's profile
- Degree in international forwarding and logistics
- Sales experience and working knowledge of the international transportation and logistics industry preferred
- Advanced English and Spanish (spoken and written)
- Good sales and negotiation techniques: concept sales, customer psychology and purchasing patterns
- Project management skills
- Excellent presentation techniques
- Rigorous and pro-active attitude
- Organizational skills and adaptability
